We have all heard of, seen, and adored Cadillac cars. The American automobile manufacturing company was founded by William Murphy, Lemuel Bowen, and Henry M. Leland in 1902. A division of the American automobile manufacturer General Motors, Cadillac was among the very first automotive brands in the world, fourth in the United States only to Autocar Company (1897) and fellow GM divisions Oldsmobile (1897) and Buick (1899). Today, Cadillac is one of the most popular luxury car brands in America.

For over a century, some of the world’s best luxury SUVs, sedans, and electric cars have been birthed in Detroit, the home of the Caddy. The company believes in Innovation, Performance, and Craftsmanship as three of its core principles in terms of designing cars. While multiple modern-day Caddys are very much the hot topic within automotive circles these days, some yesteryear Cadillac cars are still very much in demand. And the Cadillac CTS-V – the 2010 model in particular – is one such example.

What are the standout features of the 2010 Cadillac CTS-V? And what sort of money will you have to shell out if you want to buy one these days? Let us find out. Here’s how much a 2010 Cadillac CTS-V costs today.

A Part Of The CTS Family

The said model was a part of the Caddy CTS family. And the CTS series was special for many reasons. Many CTS models were launched to compete against Mercedes-Benz luxury cars. Marketed as ‘Art and Science’ throughout most of its tenure, the exterior of the first generation CTS models was designed by Wayne Cherry and Kip Wasenko, while the exterior of the third generation CTS models was designed by Bob Boniface and Robin Krieg. The company could not have chosen a better term – Art and Science – to describe their CTS models. A term that perfectly describes the 2010 CTS-V in particular. And hence, a base price of just over $ 60,000 was considered a bargain upon its launch, back in 2010. During its reign, the 2010 Cadillac CTS-V was the recipient of multiple accolades and was touted by many car pundits as the best thing to have come out of the American automotive company headquarters since the introduction of V-8 engines 95 years ago. The 2010 Cadillac CTS-V leaves a strong first impression on you with luxurious, and comfy interiors. A bigger backseat meant the 2010 model was more spacious than any CTS model back then. The feeling of the suede-skinned steering wheel just hits you differently.

CTS-V: A Super Smooth Cadillac Experience

For all its luxury and sharp design features, the 2010 Cadillac CTS-V was also renowned for its super-smooth performance. Equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine and a 6-speed manual transmission, it delivered a seamless driving experience. With steering wheel-mounted shift controls, dual-zone climate control, power and heated outside mirrors, XM satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, heated front seats, HID headlamps with washers, limited-slip differential, keyless entry with remote start, rear park assist , an enhanced navigation system, and a 40GB hard drive, there was no dearth of tech and infotainment options. The 2010 Cadillac CTS-V was also equipped with a Bose 5.1 surround sound system with 10 speakers. Going back to its performance stats, this Caddy hunk boasted a top speed of 191 miles per hour. It could go from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just over 4 seconds. About more than a decade later, the 2010 Cadillac CTS-V remains a very popular car among automotive enthusiasts. Depending on the condition of the model, you could pick up a used model of the 2010 Cadillac CTS-V for just under $ 30,000, should you wish to buy one.
